Building a City-Before and After

I took some pictures of the empty fields back in July and then again this past week so that you can see how much they change during Antiques Week which happens every Spring and fall. These people WORK! They build entire "stores" in a cow pasture. They are all gypsies in their own right.Packing, un-packing, packing, unpacking, loading, unloading...............................you get the picture?

But they do it because they love it. People who deal antiques are die-hard lovers of the gypsy lifestyle. They are those people who will slam on their brakes to dig through roadside piles on heavy trash day, they get up early on weekends to attend garage sales, estate sales and other flea markets. They brave rain, sleet, (probably not snow, but you never know) wind, dirt, heat, extreme heat, cold..............you get the picture?

Junk Gypsy tent is hidden behind this white tent, but you can still see Large Marge!

I admire these people and I really hope that the heat from this past show didn't hurt their business too much!
